Dennis Wisdom, a founding principal of N-Com, brings 38 years of technical and management experience to clients while heading the IP Technology Division of N-Com. Dennis plays a crucial role in assisting clients in developing, implementing and maintaining active security defense measures crucial to the overall security & reliability of their broadband network. Dennis' group provides clients with active network management and monitoring and are heavily involved in helping clients mitigate DDoS attacks and implement IPv6 addressing. Dennis promotes a client centered philosophy focusing on bringing innovative, cost effective solutions to N-Com’s diverse client base. Dennis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management, serves as a director on various community and church boards, and is a graduate of Leadership Lubbock. Dennis is a member of the FBI’s InfraGard program, a program dedicated to the protection, security and resilience of America’s critical infrastructure.
Tom Lewis serves as Vice-President of Engineering at N-Com and directs the Network Engineering team in assisting service providers with their evaluation and deployment of broadband and telecommunications technologies. Tom oversees new technology assessments, equipment specifications, RFP development, vendor analysis and negotiation, and actual equipment deployment. Tom is a presenter and speaker at state and national telecom association events, and has published articles on telecom technologies. Tom is actively licensed as a Professional Engineer in multiple states and currently serves as the President of the Association of Communication Engineers (ACE), an organization of registered professional consulting engineering firms committed to supporting the consulting engineer working in the field of telecommunications. Tom obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1991 from Texas Tech University. He is active in community and church boards as well as other organizations.
Vice-President Planning & Design
Rob Wilkinson has worked in the engineering consulting industry since 1991 in both the electrical and communications consulting industries. As Vice-President of Planning & Design, he currently leads the Network Planning and Outside Plant Divisions of N-Com. Rob works alongside clients in determining a proposed project’s feasibility and then developing a network design that takes both the client’s goals and budgetary limitations into consideration. Rob has participated in and led numerous strategic planning efforts, working in collaboration with the client, regulatory personnel and cost consultants. As directing role in N-Com’s Outside Plant Services, Rob is responsible for the preparation of outside plant designs, environmental assessments, permitting, project management, bid processing, contract administration services and quality control during a project’s implementation phase which helps bridge the gap between the initial design process and the actual implementation of the OSP facilities. Rob obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering in 1994 from Texas Tech University and also holds a Bachelor of Art Degree in Engineering from Lubbock Christian University. He serves on various advisory boards for each university and is actively involved in community and faith-based activities throughout the year.
